SKICROSS WORLD CUP 2027

Preparations for the Skicross World Cup this coming winter are underway! In May, FIS together with the Swedish Ski Association visited us for an inspection of the course and terrain, as well as possible improvements for next year's World Cup competition here at Dundret.

The preliminary date for the winter's biggest event at Dundret is March 2-7, 2027.

SKICROSS WORLD CUP FINAL 2026

What a success! A huge thank you to everyone who made this weekend the celebration we dreamed of when the competitions were awarded to Dundret.

Despite never having hosted skicross competitions before and with only three months from decision to execution, we managed to organize a World Cup final we can truly be proud of. This would never have been possible without the fantastic commitment from the entire community. And how we delivered! Volunteers, sponsors, and visitors. Everyone contributed to an unforgettable weekend that was appreciated locally, nationally, and internationally.

43 years after the "Ski Miracle at Dundret," the World Cup returned to our mountain, and once again the world's eyes turned north. Athletically, it was a perfect hit with double Swedish victories on Saturday through David Mobärg and Sandra Näslund. Sunday was crowned by Sandra taking her 50th World Cup victory and also securing her 5th overall World Cup title in brilliant sunshine here at Dundret Gällivare.

Once again, a warm and heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
